Does your group want to support the Parkrose Farmers Market? Here is the perfect opportunity. Your group can Adopt the Market for a day. Here is how it works;Your team shows up at 6:30 am and helps set up the market including seating areas, band areas, banners, signs, and the Market Master booth where you will be head quartered for the day out of.During the day your team works as greeters and helping people through the market with carrying of their items to their cars or just talking to them and helping them find any items they are working for. Your group also gets to be the Master of Ceremonies for the day, announcing the band, letting people know that your group Adopted the Market for the day and how they can get in touch with you if they would like to join your group.Come out and meet the community and let them know that your group supports the community by Adopting the Market for a Saturday or more. The Parkrose Farmers Market is always looking for volunteers. If you would like to come out and volunteer here are some of the volunteer opportunities we have:
7:00am-9:00am
-Market set-up: Setting up tents tables and blowing up balloons as well as putting out signs around the market
9:00am-3:00pm
- Manning the Market Master Information booth, handing out sponsor information, school information, and market information. This can be in many shifts.
- Keeping Garbage cans empty and policing the market for dropped garbage.
- Keeping the seating area tables wiped and area picked up
- Helping folks to their cars that need it after they purchase their items.
3:00pm to ??? Market Tear Down.
- Help take down market tents / tables / chairs and loaded in the trailer.
- Gather garbage bags and break down garbage boxes.
- Do walk through of parking lot making sure no garbage left behind
