Generally a four piece band including drummer Kyle Owen and bassist Brett McConnell, Sound Semantics also performs as a duo. Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Eran Schweitzer and vocalist Allie Silverberg play alternative arrangements of the music of Sound Semantics, incorporating intricate harmonies and creative looping parts for guitar, voice and percussion. These elements, layered with singable melodies set against well-crafted arrangements, result in a singer/songwriter-meets-folk pop/rock sound all their own. After their Pacific Sound Duo Tour along the west coast this spring, they are looking forward to heading back home and celebrating opening day at the Parkrose Farmer's Market.
